Essential Timber Care & Maintenance Advice

Please note that our advanced industrial pressure treatment is specifically engineered to prevent wood decay, fungal rot, and insect attack. This process provides our premium softwood garden buildings with an extended, low-maintenance lifespan. However, pressure treatment is designed as a preservative, not a waterproofing agent.

To ensure your timber shed remains completely watertight against heavy rain, all products with pressure-treated cladding should be treated externally with a high-quality, proprietary water-repellent coating or exterior wood paint. This should be applied to the dry external timber surfaces in accordance with the specific manufacturer’s application instructions.
